Here are just some of the many benefits of ELS Boot Camps:
Need more information? Here's some of the common questions I receive and their answers. What are the benefits of ELS Boot Camps? How many people do you enroll in a camp? Do I need to bring anything to camp? How much does ELS Boot Camp cost? Is ELS Boot Camp a military style boot camp? What is your cancellation and refund policy? What's a typical ELS Boot Camp session like? I'm not in the best shape right now, can I still sign-up? Will I be sore after the camps? OK, OK, I want to enroll. What do I do?
What are the benefits of ELS Boot Camps?
How many people do you enroll in a camp? I currently limit class size to 10 ladies. I do this because I still want you to get enough one-on-one attention. In other words, I want to be able to watch how every lady in camp does the exercises and be able to correct form and technique if I see something wrong. That is something that can't be done in boot camps or other exercise classes in commercial gyms. They don't put a limit on their class sizes and because of that can't help you out if you have a question or are doing something wrong, which could lead to an injury ot poor results. Each boot camp session lasts approximately 45 minutes. Depending upon the time of year, boot camps will run for anywhere from 4-6 weeks. I schedule these camps far in advance and schedule them around school breaks and the major holidays so boot camps don't interfere with other things going on in your life. I also schedule a week off after a 4-6 week boot camp. Also, as of right now camps run twice per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7am and 8am. Stay tuned because I will be adding additional times and days in the future, including 3 days per week camps and 5 days per week camps. Do I need to bring anything to camp? I recommend that all ladies enrolled in ELS Boot Camps bring a yoga mat and water bottle. You may need to bring a hand towel if you're a sweater. If the weather is bad, I also ask that you bring a clean pair of shoes to change into. Many of the exericses have you getting up and down off the floor and nobody wants to lay or sit in a wet spot from somebody's wet shoes. How much does ELS Boot Camp cost? Cost depends upon the length of camp. A 4 week boot camp costs $120, a 5 week boot camp costs $150 and a 6 week boot camp costs $180. This averages out to $15 per session and is a fraction of the cost of a one-on-one personal training session. And since I limit the class size to 10 ladies, you will still get a ton of one-on-one attentiion. Is ELS Boot Camp a military style boot camp? Absolutely not. The environment at ELS Boot Camps are fun, easy-going and motivational. There is no camouflage worn and no dog tags hanging from my neck. There is no yelling and screaming. However, I do strongly encourage all the ladies in camp to work hard...just not through yelling. I'm not a good yeller. I have never served in the military and find it very disrespectful when personal trainers try and run a military style boot camp not having served in the military. What is your cancellation and refund policy? Absolutely! I have written a Boot Camp Nutrition book that every new boot camp attendee receives. It includes everything you need to know when it comes to proper nutrition and healthy eating habits. It would be a tremendous disservice of me to have you enroll in my boot camps and not instruct you on how to eat properly. Plus, you can always ask me questions. I love answering questions and I will not lie or feed you full of fluff if I don't know the answer. You could see results in the first week. However, the extent of the results largely depends upon you. How willing are you to work? Are you willing to exercise outside of boot camps? Are you willing to change your eating habits? If you answered yes, then you will see tremendous results in a very short period of time. What's a typical ELS Boot Camp session like? Each ELS Boot Camp starts with a light warm-up that includes full body medicine ball exercises and light stretching. The camps then move into the "meat" of the session. This is the portion that is high intensity and non-stop. Each session works your entire body, but focuses primarily on the legs, butt, abs/core and arms. This high-intensity portion of the workout combines cardio, strength and agility exercises and will kick your butt! However, because of the way each session is set up you may work to your own fitness level. Meaning if I instruct everyone to do push-ups and you can only do 5 push-ups, that's fine because you will get better and you will get better fast! However, if I instruct everyone to do push-ups and you can do 20, that's fine too because you will also progress rapidly. Each boot camp session ends with a cool down period that includes more light stretching, foam roller work (a form of self-massage) and yoga-style poses. I'm not in the best shape right now, can I still sign-up? Absolutely! As I mentioned earlier, each boot camp session is set-up so that you may work to your own fitness level. That means that if I instruct you to do push-ups or squats and you can only do 5, that's fine because you'll get better and you will progress. However, if you can do more, that's fine too because you will also progress and get better and see fantastic results. I have ladies enrolled in camp who have been exercising for years and they are seeing excellent results. I also have ladies enrolled who haven't exercised for quite some time and they are also working hard and seeing great results. How hard you work is all up to you. Don't use your current fitness level as an excuse not to sign-up for my boot camps because you will be sorry you didn't. Will I be sore after boot camp? Maybe. Probably. This, again, can depend upon your current fitness level. If you are an avid exerciser you may not be as sore as someone who hasn't exercised in months or years. However, advanced exercisers will still get sore sometimes. Being sore is not something to be avoided. If it's mild soreness, it's something you should look at as a good thing. However if you can't walk for a week, maybe you should dial down your intensity level a little bit. OK, OK, I want to enroll. What do I do?
